The Ultimate RuleBook to Indian Girls
We live in the 21st century where we are to treat men and women equally but alas, society still lives in the 18th century.
It was high time I finally decided to write on this issue.
Women become the victim and even if they are not the victims, they would behave like one.
The ultimate RULEBOOK for an Indian Girl- An 18-century edition-
- Speak less
- You have to sacrifice for family
- Your choices!? No one gives a damn about it
- Sit properly
- Don't leave house unnecessarily
- Marry a strange, your parents like.
- You have to know cooking
- and other household works too.
- Education!? Why you need one? Your husband, brother, and father have enough of it.
- Dress properly
- Your voice!? Don't try to raise it!
- Do what your parents say!
- Freedom?! Remove it from your dictionary even.
Well, the scenario is quite the same but yeah time changed a bit more of it.While some are subtracted, we have a few additions to the list too.
- Late night parties?! NO NO NO
- Live-in ?! You may love each other but sharing the same house still needs a stamp called marriage.
- Be home before 8 pm.
- No late night work hours.
- Post decent images on Social Media or else be ready to be shamed on the net.
And the rule list would not end.
While some happen to escape all these, there are some still stuck in them. Only because they LACK awareness and education. They LACK confident and as the saying says,"Together we grow."
Yeah, only TOGETHER we will grow.
Next time someone says,"Dress properly" Ignore them wear what you feel is appropriate.
Do what you is appropriate.
Speak your mind.
No one can restrict your thoughts.
Post what you feel is appropriate.
Post what you feel is appropriate.
Raise your voice against the wrong.
Create your own definition of "APPROPRIATE".
Freedom is the birthright.
Go on and enjoy it.
और वैसे भी कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे !!
लोगो का काम है कहना !!
Until the next post!!
